clinical supervision for trainee and qualified therapists

A supportive space for you and your practice

Clinical supervision is a space to slow down, reflect on your work and think openly about what is happening both for your clients and for you as the therapist

I offer a warm, collaborative and reflective approach to supervision. Together, we can explore your client work, consider different perspectives, think through ethical dilemmas and support the development of your own professional identity and therapeutic style

My aim is to create a relationship where you feel supported enough to be open and appropriately challenged when this can help you grow.

how we will work together

Reflective and collaborative | Rather than simply telling you what I think you should do, we will explore the work together, considering different perspectives and possibilities

Supportive and appropriately challenging | I want supervision to feel safe enough that you can be honest about uncertainty, mistakes and difficult feelings, while also being a space where assumptions can be gently questioned and new ways of thinking explored

Ethically grounded | We can explore ethical dilemmas, boundaries, risk and professional responsibilities while keeping both you and your clients in mind

Relational | The relationship between supervisor and supervisee matters. I aim to create an open, genuine and non-judgemental relationship where difficult things can be talked about rather than avoided

A space for you, too | Therapeutic work can be emotionally demanding. Supervision isn't only about the client; there is also space to consider how the work is affecting you and what you may need in order to continue practising safely and sustainably
